The Canon imageCLASS MF6500 is a multifunction copier that also prints, send faxes and scans. With many more features, it is inevitable that at some point experience a failure. Remove the paper jam when messages “Check Document” (Review paper ) or “Document Too Long” ( Document too long) appear on the LCD. Check the jam location indicator where the jam occurred. Open the ADF (Automatic Document ) and remove the paper jam. Check the feeder tray documents and under cover glass and removes documents stuck from there too.

Remove the paper inside the unit when you see a message “Paper Jam” (paper jam). Open the left cover and gently pull the jammed paper out of the machine. Remove the paper tray and make sure the edges of the paper are inserted below the lashes. Push the paper tray into the machine until it clicks.

Restart the machine you get the message “System Error” (System error). Turn off the main switch, wait for more than 10 seconds, then turn the copier again. If the message persists, disconnect the machine from the power source and contact your Customer Service Center Canon.

Remove the toner cartridge if you receive the message “Toner Low, Prepare New Toner” (Toner Low, prepare new toner). Shake the toner cartridge several times to distribute the toner, and then reinstall the cartridge. If the message persists, replace the cartridge.

Reload the paper and reset the paper tray correctly if you receive an error code that says “# 0009”.

Prints, delete or send any document stored in memory if you receive the error code that says “# 0037”.
Tips and Warnings
Always disconnect the machine when you clean or move.
To avoid paper jams, do not disconnect the power cord, open the left cover or add or remove paper while the copier is operating.
